Features:
Circa 1968 vintage Tissot chronograph with Ervin Piquerez SA (EPSA) designed stainless steel compressor case, Lemania Cal. 872 manual wind movement and original black and blue dial. Original bi-directional rotating bezel is near perfect, as are the dial and hands. The crown is original hatched compressor type.
This Tissot represents one of several variations of this type, often called "Viggen" models, named after the Saab 37 Viggen attack/fighter pilots who were issued the Lemania version by the Swedish Airforce. This Tissot is a civilian version and the bezel is closer to what was equipped on the Lemania chronograph watches issued to South African Airforce pilots.
